Birchbox Vanity Affair Limited Edition Box

I am so excited to share this post with you. These are some amazing products that I’m so happy I had a chance to try. Many of them I’d never heard of before I tried them so I had a pretty unbiased opinion going in. I hope you all enjoy seeing what was in the Vanity Affair Limited edition box from Birchbox because I had a lot of fun trying and photographing these.

I saved up all my points and finally ordered the Vanity Affair limited edition box, its retail price is $98 but I got it for $30 which seemed like a good deal considering many of the products were full sized. I hadn’t heard that much about what was in the box other than the description but I was excited to try some new brands and products.

The box itself is a beautiful white box with gold accents and will definitely be repurposed in my house. It weighed a lot more than I expected it to and was packed full! Inside were some amazing high end products I couldn’t wait to try.

Chantecaille Luminous Gloss in Passionfruit
I’m not a huge fan of lipgloss but this is such a beautiful pink gloss and not sticky. Chantecaille makes beautiful products and I was so glad I got to try another product from them. I love the color of this, it’s just the perfect pink for all skin tones.
TOCCA Eau De Parfum in Margeaux (travel size)
This has a warm floral scent to it with bargamot, gardenia, and jasmine. I love how this smells on my skin. I hoard TOCCA skin products, they make a lotion that I love sampling from Birchbox. This scent is such a great every day scent.
Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint
I love multifunctional products and this is no exception. As a lip stain it plumps while it stains. It’s not all that bright but the stain stays all day. It makes a very natural looking cheek stain which is great for natural looking makeup that isn’t heavy.
Rosanna Alhambra Medium Vessel
Such a cute little ceramic container. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a candle in it but that doesn’t mean I can’t put on in it. The teal, white, and gold go so well together on this cute little box.

Jinsoon Nail Lacquer in Cocquette and Nostalgia

Jinsoon is such an amazing company that makes non-toxic nail polish. I’ve been coveting their polishes for a while now but wasn’t ready to drop $22 on one bottle without having tried them. I LOVE the colors they chose for this box. Cocquette is the perfect nude that goes so well with my skin tone. Nostalgia is a deep cherry red that I can’t stop wearing, its sexy and elegant. These are both highly pigmented colors that are rich and warm.

MAKE Calypso Palette

I really like the packaging on MAKE products. It’s simple and clean and really showcases the makeup, which is what its all about. The colors in this palette are highly pigmented and on its own it would probably be worth around $40. I’m not crazy about all of the colors, some of them are just too bright for me.

Serge Normant Dream Big Volumizing Spray (travel size)

I love Serge Normant products and this was no different. It does a great job of volumizing with fine spray.

SHU UEMURA Art of Hair Essense Absolue Oil-In-Cream (travel size)

This smells DIVINE! It leaves my hair so silky smooth and I wish they had put a full size in the box because I don’t know what I’m going to do when I run out. The scent isn’t too strong but its enough that when I turn and my hair flies around I catch a quick whiff of it and it makes me smile.

Stephanie Johnson Tinseltown Gold Jewelry Tray

This was probably the least luxurious item in the box. It’s very pretty but the snaps feel a little cheap. The tray was cute for staging items but really doesn’t do much for me at home, I could see myself using this while traveling if I plan to stay somewhere for a while where I’d need a jewelry tray.

Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment (travel size)

This treatment smells like fresh lemongrass. It plumps fine lines and makes my skin more radiant and supple. I gently dot a little bit under my eyes and it feels so good on my skin.

By TERRY Baume De Rose (travel size)
This product is AH-MA-ZING. The consistency is pretty thick but its not sticky or heavy. It moisturizes really well and smells just like roses. I absolutely love this and how soft it makes my lips.
Maison Caulières Perfumed Bath Oil (travel size)
The flowers suspended this make it even more luxurious. This smells great in the bath and leaves your skin soft and smelling great.

It's so worth it considering how much each full size product retails for
