I can’t remember the last time I bought myself new activewear, it’s been a very long time. With two kids it’s hard for me to spend money on myself and harder to actually get shopping done. Ellie Active sent me their May box to review and share with you. It’s perfect for someone like me who enjoys living an active lifestyle, enjoys fashion, but doesn’t get out to shop a lot.
It arrived in a sleek, rose gold box that is absolutely gorgeous and was fun to find on my front porch. I meant to get a quick video of me unboxing it but I was so excited to see what was in it that I just ripped it open. My initial thoughts on the box were there was a nice variety in it for the price. I received a top, a bra, pants, an arm band, a hand therapy set, and a cute little Ellie backpack to take to the gym.
The bra is so cute on and has removable padding, perfect for when you need some extra coverage. It looks really cute on its own and under a low back top. I received an alternate style than some of the other boxes because I ordered an XS and I’m interested to see what other people got. I usually gravitate towards blacks and grays given the choice so this box was kind of spot on for me. The top that came is super cute with a fun back detail. I love that the back is long enough to provide coverage so I don’t feel so exposed. The crops are so comfortable and the material is incredibly soft. They have great coverage, I’m still nervous about showing my post baby belly especially at the gym and having bottoms that come up high enough when I’m moving around makes me feel a little better. They have this really great slit up the back of the calf which is perfect for working out because they aren’t binding and move when you do. I received solid black ones but they also come in a patterned print that I was a little jealous of. Next time!
The arm band is a MUST for me. My husband took my last one and broke it (it was meant for LADIES arms) so I actually really needed one. It fits my phone in its case which is great because I’m so paranoid about breaking my screen. The hand massage balls actually are pretty amazing. I keep them on my desk and I roll them between my hands while I’m working to relieve stress in my hands.
This monthly box is pretty cool, I won’t lie. I love athleisure-wear because its fun to workout in and comfy to lounge in. I think this whole box is great for anyone who lives an active lifestyle. You get 5 workout items for $49.95 per box but you can cancel or skip at anytime. You can still get the May box by signing up here. I’m excited to see whats in the June box! Keep your eyes open for their flash sales because they have them pretty often
***I received this box free of charge from Ellie Active to review and share. All opinions are my own.
