I posted this look on Instagram and got a pretty good response so I figured I’d put together a full post about it and include details and some more shots. OF COURSE it started pouring rain out of nowhere the second I stepped outside to get some full outfit shots. I did post an indoor photo of the whole look on Instagram but I was not happy with it.
These over the knee boots are amazing! I was not a fan because every pair I tried on didn’t fit right. They were either too loose in the thigh and leg or were too high and made my legs looks so stubby. I actually bought a pair of Steve Maddens that were a perfect dupe for the Stuart Weitzman pair I’ve been drooling over but they were so incredibly uncomfortable and the leg was too loose. This pair of Dolce Vitas are discontinued but I found a few very similar ones that I will link to below.
This vest is from the J. Crew and is currently on sale! Its down instead of quilted which means its lighter and warmer. I chose the gray herringbone because it had a softer look to it and I could picture it with more things in my closet. It’s so versatile and soft plus the best part is that the back is lower than the front so if I do wear it with leggings I don’t feel so exposed. Look out for the vest in future posts! I paired it with this soft cotton striped top. I love 3/4 length sleeves for for fall because the mornings and evenings can be 45 degrees but it still gets up to 75 during the day.
Last but not least are my all time favorite Paige Denim Skyline Jeans. I order a pair during the Nordstrom Annual Sale every year and they last forever. They are super comfy, have great stretch, and come in my size (23). Petite girls rejoice! Their Skyline Ankle Peg are the perfect length for ladies 5’3″ and under and fit exactly like their full length ones on petite legs. That means no bunching or folding!
